Add this to your favorites and comment what you think of the story for a chance to win a free hard copy version of Peter Pan the Vampire #2 BW (winners win be picked and notified on the 16th of June when I post the next free page).

Read my comic for free (2 pages per month, but still). Holy cow! I have been working at my two jobs so much and been sick all week on top of that and I completely spaced on the May 16th free page. So. . .

Here is page 13 of Peter Pan the Vampire #1 the tale of how Peter meets a new slayer. The slayer was trying her hardest to stake Peter, but he got her to calm down a bit. He actually convinces her to stop trying to kill him and they sit down at a cafe to talk it over. I had this moment in my head for a long time where he tells her he is Peter Pan and she thinks he's joking. I struggled for a very long time on how I would do the flashback story part. I wanted it to look cartooney yet I also had to avoid it looking anything like the Disney version. I settled on having my daughter who was 8 at the time draw it and inserted her drawings into the story. I had plans for her to draw her own story that tied into my universe here, but she is super busy with school, dance, and guitar classes.

What will happen next?

I hope that I see a bunch of ya at DRAW NIGHT on Friday the 5th of June at the Tremonton City Library here in Utah. I have posted a flyer for that and created an event on the rentnarb page if you want to check that out.
Check in again on May 16th for another peek and some more of the story and for who won a free comic.

As many of my followers already know I am currently coloring my comics with Photoshop with the lessons I've learned from Brian and Kristy Miller's Hi-Fi Color for Comics. This page and the book it comes from were colored with Prisma Color pencils and a lot of what went into it got lost in the scanner.

Follow this link to find where you can purchase a physical copy...www.indyplanet.com/front/?prod
or contact me to arrange for a signed copy at no extra charge. $4.oo for color, $2.oo for grayscale, and 99 cents for digital download.
It is free to read here, but by buying a physical copy you can keep this story going by supporting it because without money I have to keep working my 3 jobs to keep afloat (and working keeps taking me away from making comics).
